LANGO - Lango Province is gearing up for a crucial FUFA Drum semi-final first leg this Saturday, with the defending champions set to face Bunyoro Province.

Head Coach Bob Obira and the team on Tuesday morning this week released Lango Squad ahead of the highly anticipated encounter on Saturday 26th Sept at DOKOLO Technical in Dokolo District

Lango, popularly known as “Amuka”, reached the semi-finals after eliminating Teso Province in the quarter-finals.

The first leg in Soroti ended goalless, before Emmanuel Okech scored the decisive goal in the return leg at UTC Grounds in Lira, giving Lango a 1–0 aggregate victory.

The victory maintained Lango's status as the reigning FUFA Drum champions, having won the 2024 edition with a 2–1 victory over Busoga Province.

Bunyoro, meanwhile, booked their semi-final place by defeating West Nile 1–0 on aggregate, with Kabong Living scoring the decisive goal in the second leg.

The FUFA Drum semi-finals are played over two legs, with the aggregate winner advancing to the final.
